Otterbourne Parish Council in Hampshire have created a Welcome Pack for new residents to the village, to connect people with services and facilities in their area.
The pack includes a history of Otterbourne, a Parish Map, a list of Parish Councillors, Parish Council meetings, a description of St Matthew’s Parish Church and other religious establishments.
It also gives information about facilities such as health, shopping, education, emergency services, the Post Office and public transport, sport and recreation, and the library. It includes a list of clubs and societies, recycling and civic amenity sites, plans for the village, supermarkets and large stores and other local attractions. Alongside new neighbours becoming first contacts and advisors, councillors or the Parish Clerk are also available for information and help.
